An Updated Braid...

...who would've thought to braid fabric right into their hair?? I've been seriously thinking about giving this a go this summer ever since I saw it on Refinery 29.

I have a bunch of my husband's worn-in woven shirts that I've been planning to repurpose, and this would be a fun way to use some of the scraps!!

More Side 'Dos...

If last summer was all about the side braid, then this winter is all about the side chignon... I bookmarked this in a recent issue of Martha Stewart Weddings, but forgot to give it a try and was happy to come across the photos again on A Cup Of Jo...

I Love My New Shampoo!

I just found Alba shampoo and conditioner on sale at Whole Foods, and it's fabulous!! Seriously, the price is amazing, the formulas are paraben-free, and the glorious scents?! Oh, my. It's like a spa day, every day. ;)

I picked up the Coconut Shampoo and Gardenia Conditioner this time around, and it's been a great combo for me so far.

Loving Braids...

So happy that one of the biggest spring/summer hair trends is loose, easy braids!! It's such a simple way to corral long(er) hair and if you do it just right, it looks pretty, sexy, and oh-so-relaxed all at the same time!

She's Back!!!

Every month, I look forward to the arrival of a new copy of Vogue in my mailbox, but today I was super-excited to see the lovely and fabulous Gisele(!!) on the cover! I totally understand that celebrities/actresses sell more issues, but there's just something a little more special when a supermodel who really knows what she's doing lands the cover. I mean, it is a fashion magazine, after all, right?!

I have to admit, as a new mom, I've been a little curious to see how Gisele would look during and post-pregnancy... I guess the answer was obvious. :)

So, the other good news is Gisele's new skin care line... I'm always searching for all-natural products that actually work, and I'm very excited to try out Sejaa. It's only available on their website, so I'll do another post someday once I've tried it out and can tell you how it is! :)
